Official Dress & Dress Code
Official Dress for Male Members*       
  • Black dress slacks (No jeans, leather, pleather, etc)
  • White dress shirt
  • Official FFA necktie.  
  • Black dress shoes with closed heel and toe. Dress boots are acceptable. 
  • Black socks 
  • An official FFA jacket zipped to the top. The collar should be turned down, and the cuffs buttoned.
  •  

    Official Dress for Female Members*       
  • Black skirt or black dress slacks.(No jeans - blue or black, leather, pleather, etc.)
  • White collared blouse
  • Official FFA blue scarf
  • Black dress shoes with a closed heel and toe (No boots, sandals, tennis shoes, etc. Shoes may not have         sequins, sparkles, or any other accessories.)
  • Black nylon hosiery
  • An official FFA jacket zipped to the top

  • * Official garb of recognized religions may be worn with Official Dress



    *****For the KISD Livestock Show, the students can wear black jeans and black boots. No bling on jeans!*****

    The KISD Livestock Show has VERY strict rules on Dress Code. These MUST be followed at ALL events related to the Livestock Show (including selection). Failure to follow these rules will result in forfeiture of their show check.

    According to KISD policy extracurricular activities may set higher standards of dress code than campus standards. KISD exhibitors must adhere to the following rules at all KISD Livestock Show functions, including selection of animals, progress show, and the livestock show and sale. 

    1. Girls will have neatly groomed hair with no unnatural color. 

    2. Boys will have hair neatly groomed, off the ears and collar, and no unnatural color. 

    3. Boy’s earrings are prohibited. 

    4. All visible body piercings are prohibited. The only exception will be females with ears pierced. 

    5. At the KISD progress show exhibitors must exhibit their projects in the progress show shirt, jeans/pants that are free of holes, and closed toe footwear. 

    6. During the livestock show, exhibitors must be present in official dress during their species show, auction, and picture. 

    7. Any violation of these rules will result in forfeiture of all show proceeds.
